News articles fix?

Hi guys,

I'm looking to fix news articles on my cms - the {newscontent}/title and description is not working. Wondering how to fix? I have been looking around and have not found anything.

Bonus: while looking around I found the maintenance redirect code. I would like to be able to allow staff members to access the hotel while on maintenance but continue to keep regular users below rank 6 on the maintenance page. (If you can help then please

I believe those are just the default articles that were imported with the database? Try creating your own test article, and see what happens.

Yeah I have but still nothing, I just restored the db to see if it did anything.

yh hyptic is right, those articles come with the db just remove them but did u try to create a news article?

It could be the table itself. click design table, and see if everything is as it should be. everything that should be nulled and what not.

Check the code In your article page and see what it says. Example {news_longstory} then go to you template class I believe and check what it falls he variable and what column name it is calling to to set that variable. If the variable is the same name, check the column is the same. If all that matches; then you're good to go and it should work

What JayCustom is saying is right. Check your class.template (../app/class.template.php).
