Well, I got a new computer today & I thought I'd share it with you guys .
I know you probably don't care, but I care so fuck you.

So I got a Inspiron 17R Special Edition, and its pretty fucking badass.
The specs are:

• 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM processor (6MBCache, up to 3.4 GHz)
• Windows 8, 64-bit, English
• 17.3" Full High Definition (1080p) LED Display with Anti-Glare
• 8GB
  You must be registered for see links
  Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
• 1TB 5400 RPM SATA Hard Drive
• 8X Tray Load CD/DVD Burner (Dual Layer DVD+/-R Drive)
• NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M GDDR5 2GB
• 90 days Premium Phone Support + 1 Year In-Home Service after Remote Diagnosis
• 7.23 lbs

So yeah, this is my first time using Windows 8 and it's pretty fucking cool so far.
I'm gonna be using it probably mainly for Programming and a little Gaming.

Tbh, Windows 8 is pretty good. I prefer it over Windows 7 because you have an option to chose between the start menu and to switch to desktop mode. So it's pretty much the same as Windows 7, better if you ask me.

Windows 8 does better on benchmarks, and if you don't like the default UI install windows 8.1, it removes it from starting at boot and puts the start button back! And if you don't plan on using that hard drive swap it with a SSD and your computer will be insanely fast.

Don't forget to reinstall windows/remove bloat ware!
