Need help with retro.

Wait so IIS is not more secure than xampp? Well shit you saved me a load of time trying to set up IIS. Thanks bro!

There is not such thing as "More Secure" they are both web servers, Xampp was just "officially" made to be for localhost, but it can work for web servers just fine if you configure it correctly.

Oh okay. Well I'm having another problem atm, I'm making my retro hamachi for now just to test things out and make sure it's fully operational before I get it on a VPS and look what hamachi is doing.

Yes, I would. However, if you want better performance and top notch security, I would recommend you'd go for NGINX.

I would agree with you on that one, yes, if a web server is configured correctly it would be secured properly. However, the main point here is that XAMPP is lacking on security as it is not created to be used for production, it is only intended for development purposes.

I won't argue, I have researched it and that is true. I just thought teaching people how to setup Xampp as you can use it will help hotels from avoiding skid hackers
