I am currently making a website template and would like to know what kind of CSS navigation everyone prefers.

Here are some keywords describing different navigation styles, Pick the ones you like to see in a navigation and feel free to add your own;

Horizontal, Vertical, Small, Large, Gradient, Drop Down, Fixed, Curved, Square, Picture, Joined, Separated, CSS3 hover

That is all I can think of at this present time.

Feel free to link some nice navigations that you know and like.

CSS3 hover is pretty slick, and drop down can save a lot of space on the site itself. I like something like this over all:
