My Vps And domain!

i recently purchased a domain from godaddy for my retro i want it to that my retro / vps goes to the link i know i have to edit the :

DS Records

Host Names
And i have to do name servers any clue on what i have to do i know it has to be the vps ip but dont no how to do it if you could explain on what i have to put were would mean alot thanks guys

i baught the vps from terrum and the domain from godaddy
