Looking great! Perhaps shorten the bar at the top, in my opinion it's a bit large (Nitpicking).

I like it, but I just think it feels like there's too much content in little space. Perhaps you could add a little more margin and/or padding and see how it looks.

Good because the black bar is going to stretch across the page so there is nothing I can do about that haha.

Thanks! Time to make a few alterations and code it.

I've made the changes and started to code the layout.

This is what I have so far, it is not yet completed obviously and has some spacing/margin issues that can be fixed when I wake up tomorrow.
