Making an import button.

Okay I am trying to make an import button so other people (users) can import images to a file on my desktop, is there a way to do this? If so can someone help me understand it better I am trying to make it in php but pretty sure its a html string not for sure though.

They wouldn't be able to import files to a folder on your Desktop unless you're hosting the website on your Computer

Well I mean the VPS folder. But yeah its being hosted on that with xampp of course.

So what you're wanting is an file upload script? You could of google'd it and found it within seconds.

I have been but probably was naming it wrong, I searched how to let users import an image to my desktop etc. But thanks will check those thinks out.

Why to your desktop?

Can you not just create a folder in htdocs, get the uploader to import files to that?
And if you really want to, just create a shortcut to your folder and have it on your desktop?

Spoderman already helped me but, yeah I did create a folder and thats what I mean I said desktop because I wanted to make it so people knew I wanted it to go to my vps/pc
