I mean, it can be used during closed-circuit testing phases, but I wouldn't recommend using it in live production. Why not go for a VPS or Dedicated Server?

Hamachi is very outdated for retros and would not meet the needs Plus Emulator uses, considering it'll be sending a lot more packets than it was back when Hamachi was actually used. So yes, you can use it, but not recommended if you plan to go live.
