In regards to the "graphics designers"

You're all terrible, I've just trawled through the last 5 pages in this board and everything is terrible.

I wouldn't normally post a thread like this, but it's somewhat insulting to see pixelated, random crap (such as david camerons face) being tried to pass off as 'graphics'.

Please, please please please practice before offering a service, especially if you're going to charge for your work.

Even though I don't completely agree with the fact that everyone in the graphics section is terrible I will agree on the fact that you are quite good yourself.

You do some pretty good concept art yourself, I like it. Although art can often be an opinion, you can still notice the difference between the good and the bad (oh and the plain ugly).

However, I feel your point only stands for those who are actually charging for their "services". If someone is doing a free service or just showcasing their work, they are doing it for a reason - to get better. It's not your place to say whether it's terrible or not, they need constructive feedback that they can work with not some shitty reply that helps no body.

Basically, I agree with what you say for any paid services etc but other than that, I'd have to disagree. Nice designs you have though, maybe post some more - or do one better and post a tutorial so others can lean like you (if it's possible, fuck knows).

1. Art can be interpreted in many way's, and has a lot of styles and techniques all truly amazing. Your a good concept artist, but you don't have the right to criticize other people's work just because you don't see the point in them.

Anybody has the right to tell another 'artist' that they're awful at what they do if they're trying to perceive themselves off as artists, simply because it affects those who actually worked to be where they are in regards to creating 'art' through dragging down standards.

Just stop offering services if you don't know what you're doing, is all I'm trying to say, not hard to comprehend.

There's no such thing as "true art", as stated before, everyone has their own views on what those words mean to them. Art is all about subjectivity, so you can't say everything posted here is no good, just because it isn't your thing.
