First of all apologies if wrong section, if necessary could a mod kindly move it to the correct section please?

So I'm really wanting to start a project of some sort as I'll be moving into the development side of IT professionally at work this year. (Exciting times as support/infrastructure is getting boring)

I've been doing small projects throughout the years but mainly tailored to Habbo to be honest and I need some inspiration on what I should do for a challenge/project to gain a little more knowledge and experience.

It will be Web development so a project tailored to that would be perfect.

Any ideas?

Would never have thought about doing a dating site to be honest..

As for an inventory system, this could be a good shout actually! I could tailor it to my work and it would give me an excuse to be able to code it up at work

I’ve done a blog etc before so won’t be doing that again!

There is a real market for niche dating sites at the moment. I'd suggest looking at some, try spot some possible markets. I can think of some if you need any help.

Yeah I think i'll have a look into something like a dating site. I have no intention to sell it or anything or even run it once made to be honest.
