This is a guide to show you a few steps on how to make your retro successful.

- Set up the retro to be fully custom.
- Put the users first. Without your users, your hotel would be absolutely nothing. Make sure they know that, and keep them happy by running events around the hotel.
- Stay active, make sure your on the hotel when you have free time from real life situations.
- Keep the economy good. Don't just pass out credits and rares like it's nothing. The economy must be a very well structured branch in the hotel.
- Keep your voting up. I reccommend doing Index voting for 'RetrosList'. This website allows people to see retros by how many votes they have. Great way to gain users.
- Keep the hotel up. Don't close the hotel due to one minor thing. Don't sell it either, it makes you look like a sellout
- Don't hire everyone. Keep the staff roles limited until your userbase really starts to grow. If you average 10-25 users online, have around 2 moderators and keep it at that.
- Stay happy. Don't be grumpy to your users or other staff members. They won't come back if you are.
- Keep the hotel protected. Make sure you have a proxy, and use cloudflare. It's free to use a cloudflare IP which covers the ping command in CMD. And the proxy takes care of IP in the client.php viewsource.
- Hackers. You may get hackers on your hotel saying they are going to deface you. Just ignore them, tell your staff and users to just ignore them. They will go away without causing any harm. If they start giving out IP's, thats the point where you ban.
