PC How to make your own Bukkit server 1.5.2 And how to Portforward [TUT]

Hello there again DevBest for my second tutorial on Minecraft Servers!


In this Tutorial, i will tell you how to

- Start your Server up

- Add Plugins

- Update it

- Portforward it



Well lets start of with Creating the server,

First of make a folder and name it Bukkit Server and then save it,

Now go to

and on the right click the BETA build.


Now once you've done that put it in your folder and rename it to Craftbukkit otherwise the server won't start up.

Now add a text Document and put in

java -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M -jar craftbukkit.jar -o true
PAUSE

now save it as run.bat then save it, now delete the text document and hit craftbukkit.

Once all your Files have generated double click run.bat

Now your files have generated you can begin adding plugins,

This is quite simple its like drag and drop,

go to google and type ANY Plugin you want on your server, and then click it and download it, once it is done
place it in your Plugins folder then turn the run.bat off and then back on

it should successfully install your plugin and it should work fine (Unless it requires Something else)

Updating your server:
Well to update your server go to the webpage where you downloaded craftBukkit and get the newest BETA build,

Just delete the told craftBukkit and add the new one in.

Now for the harder bit,

Portforwarding, this is for Huwei portforwarding so im sorry if this doesn't work, but it might be the same.

First of all go to

then copy your ip and put it into search,

Once its loaded

Username: admin

Password: admin

This is the router default login, you can change this when your on the router but i recommend not to.

now go to Advanced Settings then go to NAT Then click PortMapping

Now fill it all in with your port etc, and make sure its set to TCP/UPD

Now turn your server on, then its online

But if you want people to join you have to give them your IP for them to join.
