How do I change these colours?

So I've always hated the normal colours on these and have tried to change them before but had no luck

I just want to change the colours to nice ones

Go to your skin, go to common.css find the colour you want, replace that colours e.g #00000 with the colour code you want. It might take a while to take effect because it did with mine.
