Game Development IS NOT Php and is NOT html (because html is not a coding language) , game development is either Java (rarely) but more of C+ /C#

Game development can actually be done in any language depending on what you wanna do.
  • Web games can be made with HTML5 + JavaScript
  • Most game developers use C#/C++ or Java.
  • Simple Text based games can be made with C
PHP is not usually used for game development usually because it can not do anything graphical with out an extension.

Please understand game development is not something you can jump into with out any programming knowledge.

Finally
Try to learn how to do simple things first like creating a text based game. This can be done with almost any language.

I never said it did. I'm trying to say is learn the most Common Languages first to maybe understand the others a little more. So stop trying to be some little smart ass.
Start with learning HTML, As it is not a programming language its a good place to start learning syntax.. then follow up with PHP obviously because those 2 connect. If you really feel risky open your own hotel and mess around with emulator coding. GO through comment out every line and understand what the code does on every line.. Then change it.. edit it.. make new things.. start your own projects.. create a emulator from scratch.. make your own game ^_^

Learn JavaScript, Java/C# (or both), C(++)/Rust/Go (lower-level programming) and Python/Ruby. Learning a 'sysadmin language' (Perl, Bash or Powershell) would help too.
