well ive downloaded minecraft, i have an account but when i login and go to play it freezes on "downloading packages" or when it goes to "done loading"...ive deleted bin folder then minecraft folder and still wont work...ideas?
Have you got the latest version of Java? Have you tried another account on your PC to check it's not just your account? My brother downloaded the beta version of java and couldn't get it to work so if you have the beta version it could be that.
It's the compatibilty! I found this solution in 1 place on the internet. Right click Minecraft, select Compatibilty Troubleshoot and then i think it'll be taken from there.
