Introduction:
HabboLOL is a brand new Habbo retro framed with one objective in mind, and that is to bring the fun back to the game we all once loved. Our hotel strives to maintain professionalism whitest giving players the most interactive and user friendly experience possible. Being "the best" or "most up-to-date" retro isn't our top priority, keeping our users engaged in a warm-welcoming community and establishing an economy members would like to actually be a part of is on the top of that list. With that being said, I will now outline a little more information about HabboLOL.

Why should you join HabboLOL?:
The answer is simple, you receive absolutely NOTHING at start.. And no, that isn't a typo either. Users at HabboLOL receive 0 Diamonds, 0 Credits and 0 Duckets upon registration! Right about now is the time you're probably thinking that our hotel is pretty bland with no furniture or trading going on, right? Well even if you aren't Ill give you some insight, firstly, most furniture on HabboLOL is completely free. Members who stick around for 15 minutes of online time receive a total of 2 Duckets per quarter. Duckets are used to purchase things like, bots, clothing, pets, seasonal furni and most importantly HC Furni. We're utilizing the HC Membership service almost to it's fullest potential offering furni exclusive to members who acquire a subscription. Credits are used to purchase rares, HC subs, groups and are only acquired through community engagement including hosted and site events and Club Sofa redemption, something of which will be discussed at a later time. We aim to promote a system where users are encourage to stay online and active, while still being able to build to your hearts content and compete to become head honcho of the hotel showing off their wealth.

As I've mentioned before, we are not by any means perfect but we're making steps in the right direct. Not sure how Google's ranking algorithm treats the TLD .lol, but from using Habbo in your name you get SEO benefits. These days you can't only reply on FindRetros to fuel your community, it will slowly die out.

This actually works pretty well, google "Habbo retros" one of the top results is Habboon.pw. Domain name influences your keywords greatly. I made this mistake on a website non-related to Habbo. My site was arguably better than my competitors, however they had the name of the niche in their domain with the .news tld. They got about 5x to 10x more search driven traffic. I struggled achieving top page on Google, while they were around #3 or so.

Key words are important, from your domain, to your title, to every word in your paragraph tags.

As for the name lacking creativity, I mean. Yeah it does. The fact they custom coded a theme specifically for the launch of the hotel doesn't mean it was a sake of laziness, many other hotels have done this too (Habbo.LA).

O.T. Looks good, might check it out. Hope it stays open though, seems a lot of owners are discouraged with the state of the retro community when it doesn't meet their expectations.
 
After checking out the hotel it appears their CMS is very glitchy. (Seriously took me like 2 minutes to register because it's not made well).

Checked it out. Seems you need to buy HC with your real money, otherwise you will have regular clothing. Just like Habbo. Seems they're really trying to be like Sulake.

They claim their non-existent economy is better than Habbo's, or Habboons, or any other hotel for that matter.

After trying to speak to them in game to understand how it works, they immaturely ignore me. And after I asked how you get duckets (their main currency, you start with 0 credits by the way) I got banned, without explanation.

Sorry guys, thought this is the hotel we needed. Seems we've been let down by an incompetent staff team (I'll probably get ddosed for posting this)

I was just daunted by this. In the entire timespan that I've played retros, never have I once seen a hotel that charged for HC clothing. It was hard for me to take in. And it's frustrating that you guys are arrogant enough to claim you're better than even real Habbo itself. Get a grip of reality.

That defeats the purpose of retros though. People who want to spend real money would just stick to real Habbo, or even Boon as it has established itself as a retro that is here to stay. Less than 10% of your users will actually spend money on your game, and the other 90% won't even be able to fully enjoy it as it's designed as a true freemium model. Instead of a free to play, donator gets slight benefits, but not on a game changing level. I fail to see your vision.

That's just my opinion. Prove me wrong.

You people are still forgetting casinos aren't allowed to be used freely on .com, users do not receive free furni what so ever, and you still earn currency on my hotel by being active? Once again, if you don't like how the hotel is structured simply go play another retro. We already have a steady gain of users and have huge plans for the direction in which our server will go. Instead of just trying to tell me how my system is wrong, tell us your thoughts AND offer ways for us to improve it? No? Okay. I'm not trying to be like Habbo, I'm trying to establish a system where the economy has actual value, regular users are still able to create rooms as much as they'd like with free furniture and while making this game competitive again.

Anyways, on to the good stuff!

Economy Update #1
We have begun paving way for HC Sofas to generate activity among the players that enjoy the gambling life! HC Sofas are now purchase-able by HC members at a discount as well as members who currently aren't a part of the cool club! Sofa Redemption has also been introduced! If you're lucky enough to get a hold of 5 HC Sofas, have them turned into 5 Credits to be spent on the hotel's very 1st Rare Of The Week! Redeemed Sofas are placed into storage rooms where they will be reused as prizes so there is little to no more Club Sofas that are in the economy than users have generated. Well what are you waiting for? Come on down to Habbo.LOL and start collecting yours today! (We also have something totally different planned for LTD Rares, but you guys will have to stay tuned to see what's to come )

Like I said to Queen in game, I like how you are actively trying to be different to other retros.
I love a different CMS and your one is a great start, simple design and very clean with a nice feed!

In-game the whole idea of P2P credits is a great idea and something I would want to do myself however I think you will find that no one (or at least the majority of people) will not want to buy credits, this is one of the reasons they leave habbo for retros.

However you're something different and its good to see. Very fresh. Above is not a complaint but just my observation, honest views

Thank you for the words of advice Josh, and thank you for taking the time to stop by! But again, I would like to stress that furni again is free on the hotel, and currency for rares is also gained through online time (events, now HC sofas, etc). Yes it requires you to stay on a bit and actually play the server but that is the type of environment we want to encourage. One where users are rewarded for their time put in on the server. I know you were not complaining, it was just to inform anyone else that thinks that we're only a pay to win game.
