Hello, It has come to my attention that recently some people have been posting about there inventory being cleaned, they come back to see there dota inventory empty, This is devastating and it really hurts me to see anyone would go so far for virtual items.

Anyways, i have done some research and i found out a little more about steam stealers, It seems that they are quite new withing the hacking community, It is sent as a file which you have to open, (usually inside a .rar file) once opened it will send a trade request with most of your steam inventory (inc CS:GO, Steam gifts and such)

A friend of mine has been victim to this.. abominable hack and i feel that people should be reminded. Someone asked him if he wanted to join an official team, They sent him a file and told him it was a team application form, he opened it and the next day his inventory was missing.

Please, please for the love of god, do not accept any files nor open links from anyone whom you do not 100% trust,

Also, i wouldn't ask this but please up-vote for visibility this is an urgent matter and a lot of people have already fallen victim to this.

It seems that Valve is being linient on the issue with getting your items back but never the less still please be careful.

Some methods of spreading include;

Note "Stearommunity"

They are slowly getting patched up but as i mentioned be careful when clicking links given by friends or stangers whom you do not 100% trust.

That is all.
