This is not a debate about gun control.

Pressure has been on the Obama government recently to put it strict gun control. Clearly, it's a right to have these guns and a huge insult to all American's to violate it.

I want your opinions on this. Do you think sweeping gun laws would spark enough rage in Americans so start a civil war/huge violent (possibly deadly) riots?

Yes. If a ban on guns came into play the gun crime rate in America and riots, probably attacks on government buildings would increase greatly

Yeah, it could cause huge violent riots. But, it will be a knife riot now wouldn't it? Which would be a lot easier to control than any other riot which may involve guns.

Well there won't be guns involved ;)

The ban would stop people going into Walmart and buying guns... Everyone already has their guns :p

No sir, the government can't walk into someones home and take their gun because they've decided to make it illegal. People that have already owned these guns would still have them to use in this possible "civil war".

Well in that case, if they are gonna implement this law, they better have a big riot police squad. ;)

hm... I wouldn't call it a 'civil war' as quickly as you are. Yes riots are likely to happen on government buildings but I think they will be contained and that people will eventually get over it.
