AtomCMS Index Edit

I played around a bit with the index of the AtomCMS, and this is what came out of it. I'm not a professional or anything, but I think it looks much more inviting. What’s your opinion on it?

Imo needs a lot of work, it doesn't flow together very well

How do you modify Atom's home? I want to remove some elements but I can't find the index file. Thanks
