Anyone thought about going into Accounting?

I've heard many people say that accounting is a boring field to go into, but I feel the stability and possibly benefits would be worth it. Is anyone else currently in, or planning to go into accounting?

Who said it was boring? Like any job, if you enjoy the field then you're likely to enjoy the job, if you choose the right company for you..

Although I've never done much accounting myself, since I run my own business I do have accountant and I've spoken to him before about his journey.. He's managed companies that had profits of up to £40 million but said its more enjoyable working with startups that do not turn over as much..

What kind of accounting are you looking into?

I've asked my accountant what made him want to do what he does, his reply was "This is every little Jewish boy's dream job"
