403/404 Error IIS 7.

403 - Forbidden Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied.

I get this 403 error whenever I go to the plain link itself, for example: "retro.domain". Not sure why, I've imported the htaccess into the URL Rewrite and its not working.

404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

I get this error when I try to go to /index or /register whichever link. Not sure why, again I imported and have web.config and helicon ape. I've tried damn near everything lol. for example : "retro.domain/index"

might just need a diff cms. does your config.php look okay? what cms u using?

u get 403 for all of them or 404? did u install iis correctly? im pretty sure 403 is not a .htaccess/web config issue but a permission issue

Yes i think its your web.config have you installed url rewrite?
