It is possible (if your host allows it) to host the CMS on a web-host, but the Emulator would have to be ran on your home PC or a VPS. By doing this, it wouldn't be 24.7 if ran on a PC, unless you leave your PC on 24.7.
There's pros and cons with them all, if you mean running a hotel with them. I'll type some below for you to compare!

Have you tried changing the 'min_rank' to 'X'? (X = The rank+ you want to see the page)
"gordon/gamedata/.." - Does this exist? By this I mean, go to 'htdocs' and then see if there's a folder called 'gordon' then check if there's a folder called 'gamedata'.
I advise not to do it this way. Start with 1 or 2 staff, and recruit within. If you have tons of staff to start with, the hotel will end up with 1 user and 5 staff members online..

Normally, this error is due to a logo fault of when re-compiling, it failed with the new image. But do as Stanleh said, re-create the edited Habbo.swf.
