Try turning your firewall off and see if that solves it. If that works, then the ports are not open. A friend of mine had this problem once, and I can't remember what I did to fix it.

Don't use Xampp for your retro, it's shit. Use IIS.
@Nippy The first line in your image is just a warning telling you that the way your setup is will not work in future versions of mysql. Don't know what the second problem is, but hiding the errors is NOT a solution.

It's because of the M, yes (it's huge compared to the other 3px-wide letters). But I felt that if I had to extend the rectangle "Venom" its in, it'd look fucked up. This isn't anything special. Just replaced the volter font. :P
