Yes , if they use phpmyadmin for database management and directory connection from any ip yes , also When installing Mysql configuration : You can allow database connection from other computers.

Added auto redirection to me.php page when the user register.

I do not know much about this CMS , but i could imagine you could go to your config and edit the register path.

You should be change it through your housekeeping.

OS X is different , and specially Lion OSX , since all the new features that has and a mac OS X needs to be compatible for some functions.
