Quite a few at school seemed to think it was coming out at midnight. Because the game is based and developed (mostly) in the states, it'll come out around 6-7PM in Los Santos/America. Rockstars servers weren't that great on GTA 5 when there were less features/games, and still sometimes crashed...

Open up the Emulator folder. "Bin" -> "Debug" -> "Settings" -> "config.ini" then CTRL+F and find game.credits.enabled The code for it is below. Reboot your emulator and voila.
