I've added this to Plus R1, however chats I type no longer show in game - no errors in the emulator or packet, infact the CHAT event packet shows as handled. Any advice?

Don't buy an emulator! This isn't Otaku Studios! I'd suggest checking out this forum section - https://devbest.com/forums/server-releases.34/ - you'll find plenty of emulators with lots of features (Be careful of the useless releases some people do post in there)
