Check the query where it's inserted into the database, make sure it's inserting the pet AI Type otherwise it's going to generate a bot instead of a pet.
I'd recommend OVH for a dedicated server or you could try one of OVH's other services for a VPS. I think they're all DDoS protected however the other services have something like a 5 minute wait before it activates. Either way a proxy wouldn't be needed with one, I'm sure they're cheap aswell.
@Sledmore and I literally spent around 3 hours waiting for disconnections, seeing if disconnections wouldn't happen, etc and we couldn't find the problem, I ended up moving to Habboons server (DDoS protected) so I no longer needed a proxy. You could try a new server or a new proxy.
Code snippets? screenshots of the emulation system users are connecting too? for all we know these are just a few pictures you've put together via photoshop.
If this is actually real, nice job.
$check = mysql_query("SELECT `health`,`hunger` FROM `table_your_selecting_from` WHERE `id` = '".$_SESSION['user']['id']"' LIMIT 1");
if(mysql_num_rows($check) >= 1)
$user = mysql_fetch_assoc($check);
Then use "$user" to insert your health/hunger into the stats bar
Wouldn't recommend it refreshing every 3 seconds. Should add the ability to be able to close and reopen it, and make the reload only happen if open. Or add a "refresh stats" button:P
