tl;dr it's been done before, and they're showing a blatant lack of creative thinking. hence the whole "let's try and make a world war game like BF1 and cash out on it lol"

I feel like these days, when it comes to triple A games, it's just a bunch of older men that are slowly losing it.
I mean, really. I can name 4 games in which the efforts of the modder community outweighs the whole vanilla content of the game.
Either they don't have enough funding, can't find the right developers, or simply have beautiful funding and are just pocketing the cesh, and throwing out a yearly game like it's a chore.
Also, the meta of 60$ for any game that is branded under a known name needs to stop.

So what do you expect? They've had the past, the current and the future. Now they're going back to World War 2. Sounds really awesome to me, I honestly don't see the problem.
