I like the way this looks, hopefully it isn't overrun with abusive staff again (from what I heard about Rage)

Hi,

I know it's been a long time since I haven't been keeping you guys up-to-date on progress, but myself and my team ran into some important errands (e.g., exams) which held back the development at the end of April. Now that summer is here, I can continue developing again.

For the past month, I've been working primarily on the CMS (both back-end and front-end). I've decided to learn and try out Laravel 5.4 for the first time. I got so familiar with the framework so quickly (since I have knowledge in PHP) and continued to code with Laravel. Day by day of coding on the back-end, it got so easier for me like everything I needed was there for me on Laravel, no extra code needed and I successfully created a web application using Laravel.

I've also renovated the front-end when I first found this CSS framework called , I started using it right after and got rid of Bootstrap (except for register page which I haven't done yet). Only took me two days to renovate the website using Bulma.

Here's some screenshots on the CMS built with Bulma (it's so much better than the last design I've done for Holo, you can look back at my replies on this thread for comparisons):

I'm almost done with the new CMS, I just have to do:
  • Automatic store payments (via PayPal)
  • Re-design register to match with the new website theme
  • Code a language system based on the users IP, and store the language locale to their session and display it on the website. Also have to add new translation texts and update webtranslateit with a new master files
  • Go over and optimize and refactor any code
After that, I can speed up the emulator development again and get what needs to be completed. We also have new features planned that haven't been on the old version of Holo before. E.g. instancing maps, which is any map but only you are in that instanced room, made just for you. It can be great for missions. More information will be released on that soon.

We have no release date yet, and I don't want to give false hopes like last time. It's best that you join HoloRP's Discord server by clicking and I'll ping everyone when we're close to opening. #holo

I have not yet to renovate the register page, but I did re-design it in Bootstrap (don't worry about the choosing looks step, I know the containers doesn't fit with the website theme):

@Jerry I know this is a bit off-topic but i was wondering, why did you choose to use Bulma over others?
the website looks great by the way.

Thought of something cool and decided to implement it on Holo's website. This feature is called night mode, you can toggle night mode by clicking a button just like on the Twitter app! The night mode utilizes Habbo's current CMS theme. When you activate toggle mode, your toggle setting will be stored in a browser cookie so it remembers you've chosen the night mode theme so you can browse around the website using night mode. If you want to go back to the normal mode (day mode), you can click on the light bulb icon to deactivate night mode and the cookie will be removed from your browser.

Here's a GIF of what I am talking about:

Or go to for the full-sized view.
