Can we get a console section? e.g PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and so forth. We can divide the gaming section, so it's more organized, also knowing that this is a forum about gaming, discussion on JTAG's and CFW, Jailbroken consoles, which should definitley boost Devbests population, also a sections to do sales, likewise account sales and so forth, legitimation processes and so forth.

The Web Market is filled with Habbo shit which is kind of stupid if you ask me, that could be in the release section instead, enabling sales of items, accounts and so forth, likewise for games like GTA V, Call of Duty Series, Clash of Clans, etc. Things like Modded accounts based on Console, and accounts worked on like Clash or other kinds to be sold in the web market.

It's time to make DevBest great again.

Some rules need to be removed, some need to be changed or added.

Yes, because people come here more for Habbo help than they do for PS4/Xbox discussion, so Habbo needs it's own section to help drown out all the PS4/Xbox threads. Once those sort of threads pick up, I'm sure Josh would consider creating separate sections and moving threads to the respective sections, but as of now, there's no point as there's just not enough demand for it
I completely understand and agree with what you're saying, but threads just don't pick their selves up, I mean if Habbo wasn't the focus, these sections might have actually been booming, opening them up would allow users to place interests in to multiple things, as the gaming section is just discussion about games, excepting the Habbo section which is development. Theres no actual releases or motivation to have people look into the section if it's so generic.

I mean Habbo is going to take over the forums, soon,

Soon Habbo will have different online cities, better music, a sports discussion on different Habbo Sports, TV Shows and a General chat bout it.

That's just someone clearly posting in the wrong section, it does say after all 'serious debates only!'

LMAO, wheres your mod perms man, you keep the forum in top condition!
When you hover over a post, next to the date, you'll see the button "Report". I recommend you to use it.

As for the hacking/cracking debate, this could get DevBest in serious problems. There's a reason that rule is in place. Especially the spreading of torrents is considered illegal. If you want to torrent, go to thepiratebay or something like that. There aren't any major gaming forums where you are allowed to spread torrents. Also keep in mind that Josh can't allow anything that's against the Terms of Service of the hoster, or risk suspension of his services - which means DevBest would need to relocate and go through a lot of shit to get back online.

Console gaming sections? Different sections don't draw new members or new content. Besides that, there isn't much difference between console gaming and PC gaming. Once there's a clear difference, yeah he could split them up. But as of now, more sections means more division of the posts over the sections, which will cause more inactive sections. Take Battlefield and Call of Duty for example, they only have a total of 79 discussions - with 8 of the Battlefield ones being made in 2016, the others in 2013.

So no. New sections aren't a good idea at all.

Atleast modify the rule to block Warez, and you do have a valid argument.

I call bologna on the legal issues, if that were such a big deal then how are other forums that allow talk of hacking online? But, then again i've never owned a site of this scale.
So okay, wait. What do we do with the cracked Habbo.swfs then, is that illegal? If not, why is that allowed and other hacking/cracking talk not.

You're all jumping on this hype train to remove the hacking/cracking rule, but what is it exactly you want to talk about so badly to have it removed?

devbest will become hackforums and we will all sell booters and bots Kappa

Lol but in all seriousness it would open discussion for more restricted posts, awhile ago i posted an email spammer that i made in python and it got removed.
Not implying i'm but hurt about it being removed; it's just an example of a time where the hacking/cracking rule "restricted discussion" i guess.

Such things are exactly why it is forbidden. Nothing good can come from such things. It makes it easy for people to harrass others. There's no place for such things on DevBest.
