There Devbest members,

I would like to introduce you to SimpleCMS a CMS written in PDO, with stability as priority 1!

This CMS itself is only 30 mb, and has unique features such as;

- Crack the safe
- Badge shop
- Packages shop (Get your rares packages for diamonds or real money here)
- A unique exchange value system, which can automatically update everything via housekeeping by an employee.
- Voucher System, get diamonds to be obtained through members to the hotel!
- A clear housekeeping (more information below)

These are already small things I can tell about the development project, this project would also be released on this forum with enough comments or appreciation.

Housekeeping information;

- A clear user change system, this has been edited with automatic java, making it easy to click on and update! You do not have to throw anyone out of the client, this can be done automatically via command; giverank or someone has to do a short relog, and then they have rank! :).
- News system (Clear and easy to use)
- Filter system also clear and easy to use.
- And a lot more! You can find out by downloading it if it is online! I upload a Linux & windows version! And there is also an instruction regarding installation, so that really anyone can install it & that is also noob friendly.

There are now some pictures about the CMS :). (ALL THE SCREENS ARE DUTCH! SORRY, I WILL FIX A ENGLISH VERSION WHEN I AM RELEASING THIS CMS)

Here are Screens in-game! :)

- (Auto refresh to hotel in-game )
-

Because people are asking for snippets! Here there are and also some screens from the folders.

- I will also make this for English! So people can switch from Dutch to English!

The language system will be extended to several languages and therefore much more stability for even foreign hotels to use :)

Hopefully you already like this project, it is a bit different, only the style (template) is not very original, but it is still a nice project in itself!

Leave a nice comment with what you think, I'm curious :)

Greetz,
Kevin

Thread approved. Please do provide some code samples and information on how/when you plan to release it. Personally I would suggest to put it in an open repository on something like GitHub.

I'm really eyeing that in-game picture, to be fair it looks like an Arcturus EMU rename :)

edit;
The CMS is different, What backend are you basing it off of, because the HK looks like the standard admin panel for BrainCMS. :)

Regarding GitHub, explaining that from the start would take a bit of time. I recommend you to check out some tutorials, like:

Your thread went back into approval due to your low post count and the fact that you changed the content of your thread. It's re-approved.

i can already tell based off that screenshot that there are probably going to be sql injections and xss attacks possible

- use prepared statements
- escape everything before printing to html
- dont mix php with html

This CMS looks like it's straight from 2010.

It's a good starting point but I'm not sure how much use anyone would get out of it. Good luck!

Alright it seems to become a discussion again, so I'm going to say it once again. Feel free to provide a claim including proof if you are the original author, but that's it. As said before, this entire community is built on stealing stuff, and everyone here is stealing from Sulake. So don't start a discussion about it.

you stupid?
PDO's main benefit (also IMO) over MySQLi is multiple driver support. MySQLi is (admittedly insufficiently) faster than PDO, and supports a procedural API as well as OOP (PDO only supports OOP). PDO seems overkill for this "cms", its not really a CMS but still.

Benchmarks show that MySQLi outperforms PDO by 2.5% on unprepared, and 6.5% on prepared. That and the fact that PDO claims to only support "most" statements and MySQLi supports all I just think MySQLi is a better choice.
