Habventure is a Habbo Retro that is still in BETA as of August 7th, 2019, we are still preparing things for the official grand opening. Though we are not officially open, we still have a decent playerbase and on some days, we may reach 15-20 users. We offer a wide range of things to do, with our community mainly being based around roleplay, there are still users that host and create fun things to do in the hotel.
History of Habventure
Habventure was technically open way back in March of 2019 with myself as developer, and @R0B_ as the owner. The hotel was a struggling hotel and did not go well due to the staff team not really communicating as much as it should. Some days we'd get 20+, other days, we wouldn't have any users. So what I did was, I brought on board past friends who I have worked with before on many hotels, and I have known them for 5+ years, as they wanted me to be developer of their hotel, but I told them they should just join with my current hotel and we can be a bigger community. They came on board, Rob was not as active as he used to be, the server was from EpicHosts when I started working with him, not sure why he bought from there, but I assume it was because he bought a pre-installed hotel, anyways the two I brought on board bought a better domain, a .com one along with a better VPS from a more reliable host, and I transferred everything over. Rob would occasionally pop on and show graphics or whatever he was working on, and that was all he'd really do, he didn't log on often, or do much of anything. What ended up happening is, the two I brought on board, asked why was he still at the hotel if he isn't doing anything and doesn't want to be there. I didn't know, so we just left it. I made him hidden on the staff page, and after like a week of not logging on, I messaged him and got no response. He also left all the chats we were in and basically quit. My assumption is that he thought we were getting rid of him because of the changes we were making, but they were just for the better of the hotel. The current hotel now has had it's ups and downs, but we've been doing well, we recently just came outta closed beta, and some of the staff who we hired had to be let go because of drama and other things. We're currently working on getting the hotel catalog filled with up-to-date furniture lines, and making the visual display of the hotel attractive and we will start advertising very soon after we pay this month's server bill on the 10th.
What we have to offer as a whole
- Up to date catalog
- RP commands (the basic crappy ones, lol)
- YouTube TVs along with a visual player that works
- A unique community of room builders
- Reworked pathfinding and movement, perfect for sports communities
- A respectable community welcome to all players of retros
- Easy to use website navigation
- RP functionality, option-able for players who are not there to roleplay.
Screenshots of the CMS
I've used this CMS on many of my other hotels, and it's mainly just because I like it, I started from Wickid's Habbo theme release way back in like 2016, so a lot of the things it has I implemented onto it, so why not. We did have a BrainCMS edit up, but I'd prefer to just go back to me beginner ropes.
