Hello!
I'm an Italian guy and since 2013 I'm developing an alternative version of Habbo, turning it into a role-playing game based on the world of Harry Potter. I added several features like a level system, spells and potions that can only be used after learning them, a GPS map that shows you the shortest way to a specific place, mini-games to create potions, teleports accessible only using passwords obtained through quests and above all a sorting system in the four houses of Hogwarts with relative private areas such as common rooms and uniforms set automatically in the castle. Another feature is that users do not have the navigator available and will have to walk around the castle (and the wizardling world) through doors, teleporters and portkeys.

In Italy I noticed that the users are now disinterested, an English version could be an opportunity for someone to learn something new and different?
Would it be a good idea to open in a more international version?
What do you think of this Hotel?

After Muggle's debacle, I'd say no. But if it's run by a entirely different group/community, getting more into the coding to alter habbo to indeed make more harry potter themed mechanics, and makes much more effort trying to atttract potterheads unfamiliar with habbo, i.e advertisement, play-by-post roleplay specific support/advertising forums, and such, then I think it's a miracle possible to revive habbo from its near death..

It looks amazing no doubt about it, but unless you can fully change the UI or do something like PeakRP where websockets are involved im unsure of how well this would work for a "habbo" retro.

Hai perfettamente ragione, purtroppo in Italia non c'è più interesse verso le novità. Buona fortuna se farai qualcosa all'estero, in Italia ha fatto comunque la sua scena positiva Bewitched!
Ciao!

You have done a good job. If you were to make this project multi-lingual I think yes that would be good. However not many people are a Harry Potter fan so you won't get that many users.
People will love how special and unique your hotel is but they won't really stay for further RP unless they like mystic types of games.

You would probably get around maximum 200 users the day you open but that amount will slowly decrease to 100-50. The English scene these days is just Chat and Chill and some casinos.
Not many youngsters are around in the english community as far as I've seen. Most likely this game will be played by kids who have crappy computers that can't install real proper MMORPG styled games. Go with either Turkish (as far as I've seen most of the community age is around 13-15). Or Brazilian for a lot of visitors but I can't guarantee the users will stay most likely many of them will come online to see what new things are around.
