What do you mean by this? Has anyone been successful in modding their online abilities?

It's simple to do on old gen i'm wondering has anyone cracked current gen consoles
Yeah you can read and write (write to some) to memory on the PS4.
However, dev's are focusing on patching things in the OS before 'creating game mods'.
As I'm pretty sure next gen have memory scans which check edits, etc. so will likely ban instantly if this was the case.

Pretty sure at the moment people are just modding on last-gen and transferring profiles over.
But there is people working on cracking new-gen, obviously, but because its the devs main focus, things will be patched almost instant if exploits are public.

I'm pretty sure there have already been some breaks through the new gen systems, especially for Xbox, PlayStation, I'm not so sure about, as I'd deem PlayStation a lot more secure than an Xbox.

There's already been a found exploit on PS4 thats been leading to a working jailbreak, modding on Xbox One has been happening, but Microsofts been dropping the ban hammers and patching those once found.

If you're going to mod, go back to old generation and mod there. If you mod on new-gen, you're a pussy and a fat loser :ninja:

If you mod for beneficial gain that is. I love modders that are the "fun modders", the ones that spawn things for fun and etc.

Modders I despise are the hackings ones, giving away free money ones, and the annoying ones that kick everyone from lobbies and just cause chaos.

PlayStation 4 Yes, I believe there is already a 'private' Jailbreak going round. XboxOne, Nope. Well, Not online anyway It's seems near enough impossible at the minute for online, maybe offline. But what's the point in that?

It's not private, it's a public release - not a fully functioning jailbreak but it's definitely getting there - debug settings, file system, remote ftp, peek and poke, etc.
Tools etc, are also back as the ORTMAPI library was released not long ago with an API - it also allows for real-time debugging.
Most people tend to reverse engineer through IDA though as the PS4 processor still uses PPC so most modders already have a good enough understanding of this asm specifically from the PS3.

Just no way of spoofing to get online :( - rip.

GTA V will be first to be fucked as it stores every useful local function in a table (native table), so find the address - really easy as player_id is first so just hash that with jenkins and search for the bytes in ida and then follow the function which is called (name it what you want... AddNativeFunction?)... It's as easy as reading some ppc and seeing the address' it's appending too - or just find the sequence based on asm op codes; much easier method but you would need instructions first..

There are some jailbreaking methods, I saw on google you can find some suggestions on how to do it.

For next gen? lol. Think you're getting trolled
You're completely right about that, most jailbreaks out there are privitized currently. There is one out there that you can use through the Internet application on PS4. I've posted it, no jailbreak is required. Also, it's only for story mode not online, so bare with it.

PS3's online servers will soon be going down anyways as more updates for the PS4 roll out and it'll end up being eliminated just like the servers for PSP, PS2 and so forth.

I guess you're referring to the web-kit exploits in earlier builds of PS4? That was released long ago by Cturd
As for systems with dev firmware on it, they don't have the keys for the system - so not really a jailbreak atm.
As they can't get on a developer network never mind SEN.
