If it was me who could code Habbo Emulators; I'd rather code a new game with the Habbo 'Concept' and my own graphics, idea's and compete with Habbo; But I'm not great with those gaming developments.... :L
Why the fuck do people say shit like this, god damn.

Why still develop Habbo Retros?
That's my question. I'm not going to right an essay, because I can't tell you what to, and not to do, but just think about the following statement. Imagine you inputted all that time you inputted on Habbo retros (which is just a phase right now), on something more constructive, like real web development, or even creating your own game to compete with Habbo? It's just something that I figured out long ago, but I want to shine some light on it now. Soon enough, Sulake will crack down on these Habbo retros, including all these "big" hotels you people seem to admire (Zap, Fresh, etc). Before that happens, devote your time into making something that will REPLACE habbo, or maybe even just grow up and move on.

Well for starter, I'm intrigued with the easy retro like pixel animation and the main idea of Habbo Hotel. Though I am not capable of creating my own online game, but if I did I wouldn't - since I am not interested in it.

There is money in going off and starting your own private-server, but without a such skillful owner or developers that consist of such great coding and development skills - the hotel will die in time. Say if I could crack the emulator; I'd still crack it since I really enjoy the concept of Habbo.

Well yes hotels like Zap and Fresh are big but if they aren't smart enough to hide their server's location with multiple proxy layers on their website, DNS cache and offshore servers then they will pay the consequences for their action. If they are going to pirate Habbo then they better be covering their tracks with VPN connections and anonymous payment methods such as Bitcoins.

Why Wouldn't You Make It??? Sulake should be happy people are using there ideas and making more and more of them but editing the main concept of habbo hotel. there fun to make there fun to run

Well there are a couple obvious explanation why Sulake wants to shut down Habbo retros. Sulake isn't making any money off these Habbo retros, matter in fact they are losing revenue. There would be too much time and money on the line to create more hotels. There are reasons why Habbo Canada and Habbo US merged together. Now also their Habbo reputation would be at risk. They are already struggling with lack of user support. There would be no way Sulake would ever make Habbo open for all to start developing.

In conclusion I highly believe in open-source and license-free software, but only thing I'd actually request in the license term is for my credit to remain the source code.

Habbo would've always been ripped by the best developer or not theres something we call
HabboEncryption - To get the source
Also there SWF is easily cached and with the proper tools you can crack that and in less then 5 minutes you have a copy of habbo hotel...
Please if habbo wanted real "protection" they'd make a php redirection on most of there files + they'd have more than just "unsupported" SWF
Unity 3D would be better or Lua.. Habbo is basically just a web platform not a game...
examples of shit they might rip next
Poptropica... (Client is SWF *All intel i have on that atm)
Habbo Will always be pirated...

I stopped reading when I read "right an essay" lol, why would I read a paragraph typed by someone who doesn't know the difference between right and write?

tbh sulake doesn't want people to use their ideas they wanna keep them for themselves also they hate that retros make money from users thats why they want retros gone they want to be greedy and charge users for items and stuff they don't enjoy other hotels growing higher user counts than them like fresh did a couple times and still does i think

Money obviously.
That's a little rich tbh not everyone in the retro community works on hotels for money i know i don't and the amount of people i help and do shit for someone would expect money..

Habbo/Sulake drive people to go onto retros because of credits/HC Club. Not everyone (little kids) will have enough money to spend on Habbo Club/Credits. Last time I was on Habbo, credits costed about £5 for 20 and that got you hardly anything. I spent a good 4 years though without spending money until I finally cracked and stole some money off my parents  (and it was a lot more than £100..)
