Do NOT download this.

Do you have the source code for CF_fixer.exe? Where did you get it from?

Why does it make DNS requests to 2 russian hosts flagged as malicious (please don't go to them)? It also downloads the VID001.exe binary from this host, and saves it as a startup file. VID001.exe is a coin miner malware.

Additionally, it drops other files onto the system, (not sure exactly what they are, haven't looked into them):
"VID001.exe" created file "%TEMP%\nscD67B.tmp\inetc.dll"
"VID001.exe" created file "%TEMP%\javarx.exe"
"VID001.exe" created file "%TEMP%\javarx2.exe"
"VID001.exe" created file "%TEMP%\nscD67B.tmp\inetc.dll"

I'd recommend no one download this. Looks shady as hell.

Don't know if this is the same as the one included in the thread, but I have also found this. I've used this multiple times, and I'm guessing it's safe compared to them results found by @BIOS

Looks like both files are identical.

You're likely infected in that case, I'd recommend downloading something like Malwarebytes and running a scan.

i mean it was released on rz and works fine for me its been out for years lol
Yeah it was first seen like 2 years ago, looks like it originated from some other foreign forum. It may work but it's still a trojan horse.
